This is a selection introduced by Pierre Gélas 60 years ago. Through his experience, and his knowledge of the different terroirs, he managed to establish
a choice of very varied eaux-de-vie. The major principle, ground-breaking at the time, was to bottle the eaux-de-vie undiluted, straight from the cask, i.e. at the degree of ageing, with no filtering. For some batches, the bottling dates are very old indeed. It is important to be able to offer eaux-de-vie at a moment deemed optimum for its ageing.
Today we are introducing more than 25 different proprietors all representative of a terroir, a grape variety, and a very varied know-how.
